Two choices

Nefertiti who turned age 2 years and 8 months give us new challenges. Habit of saying no as negating the word ‘yes’ in herdictionary. And that’s not entirely Nefertiti’s wrong.

Based on the references I read, to confront the child with the dominance high of “no”, we can apply one of the tricks. The trick is as follows.

Suppose we turn to for bathing children. “Honey, come on take a bath”
Automatic answer a child is “no”. And that’s Nefertiti. Shower invitation immediately answered with the word “No”.
Then the question changed to: “Want to shower with Mom or Dad?”
For a moment she thought. “Mother” said Nefertiti. Hooray … she did not say “no” because it is not given a chance to say no. She was required to choose between two options and no one option that requires her to answer “no”.

Just as asking Nefertiti to eat. “Eat this?” I asked. “No” answer Nefertiti automatically. The question then amended “Want  to eat rice or porridge?” And return Nefertiti think for a moment. “Porridge”
Okay … finally Nefertiti eat as well.

Done with the problem of “No”
Of course not. This may only last for 2 or 3 weeks. Nefertiti was the more creative answer our choices.

For example, “Want to wear alone or together with Dad?” She then thinks. Then say something like “Want to wear clothes myself or by Mom? … Ooo … with Mom”
???
Though her choice
a. Wear your own clothes by yourself
b. Dress by me (Dad)

and Nefertiti making her own choices:
a. Wear my own clothes
b. Wear it by Mom

And as often as we filed a choice, as often as it also Nefertiti make her own choice. Perhaps the success of the technique are two options to achieve success 60:40
